Phyllis Morgenstern M.S., CCC-SLP earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Miami and her Master of Science in Speech-language Pathology from Florida Atlantic University. She is nationally certified as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) by the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) and licensed by both the State of Florida and the State of Pennsylvania. Mrs. Morgenstern has extensive experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist conducting speech and language diagnostic assessments, evaluations and therapy for children. She has provided early intervention services for children from 18 months to three years old, and has worked with pre-school through middle school children in public, private and charter school settings. Mrs. Morgenstern has served as the lead speech-language pathologist for an entire charter school with over 800 students, providing clinical services for children with a variety of speech and language disorders, including expressive and receptive language delay, articulation/phonological disorders, dysfluency, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Intellectual Disabilities (InD), Emotional/Behavioral Disabilities (EBD), Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). She has been an active participant on the Child Study Team (CST), the School-Based Team (SBT), and the Response to Intervention Team (RTI), and has directed IEP meetings, parent consultations, and vision and hearing screenings.
In addition to Mrs. Morgenstern’s work with children, she has provided clinical services for adults, with an emphasis on stroke victors and Alzheimer patients. Mrs. Morgenstern has conducted comprehensive speech and language diagnostic evaluations and clinical therapy for adult individuals as well as groups. Mrs. Morgenstern is married with two children and currently lives in Miami, Florida.
