Both of my sons have had the pleasure of working with Ariella. The experience far exceeded our expectations. She had a way of taking what could have been a frustrating situation and making it painless and fun. Ariella loves what she does, and this love radiates through her work. She is kind, understanding, dedicated, and makes learning and growing fun. She consistently communicated with me. I was always aware of the skills that she was working on so that I was able to support her work at home. We worked as a team, which as a teacher myself, I know is extremely important to the growth of any child, especially for those who require SLP services. I cannot thank South Florida Speech Partners enough for everything they have done through the speech therapy process for my daughter. When she started, she was delayed and only speaking a few words, now she can confidently hold a conversation which has really boosted her confidence. Virginia is so loving and patient! Both of my daughters required speech therapy for different reasons. I was lucky enough to get Jodi’s name when my girls started Lehrman Community Day School. They had been to a variety of therapists and Jodi will always stand out for many different reasons. She had an amazing ability to always make the sessions fun and entertaining while tackling the girls’ weaknesses. When I told them both at the end of summer 2016 that they had made enough progress and would no longer be seeing Jodi on a weekly basis, they were devastated! Unlike any therapist I had worked with before, Jodi sent detailed and comprehensive notes after each session. The notes ranged from current goals to items we had to work on at home in order to reinforce what she was working on each week. It helped me, as a parent, stay organized and be of assistance so that we could see forward progress in an expedited manner. I am so grateful for the time my girls had with Jodi and the tremendous growth I witnessed in a relatively short period of time.
I want to say a big thank you for all the work Dr. Farin has done with our son. He is night and day better at his speech. He looks forward to each day knowing he is going to meet with you. He also likes to explain after meeting with you exactly how to pronounce all words and letters to my wife and I. And he likes to correct us as well. Thank you so much for your constant support and guidance while treating our son’s speech delay. Since, our first encounter, you gave us a detailed plan of therapy and goals to work on. Your knowledge and input has finally given him a voice. He is now expressing himself more and more through words. It all started with simple sounds and association to sounds; and now he is able to put 2-3 words together. I can’t thank you enough for answering our questions and updating us on his progress on EVERY session. The Doctor worked with my child throughout the summer on her reading and processing skills. My daughter is now reading at a 5th grade level and is up to par with her peers. She also has improved with her social skills and is beginning to make friends. We are so lucky to have met Doctor in time before the new school year started.
They helped my father communicate again after his stroke. He wasn't able to understand what people were saying to him and it affected his relationship with many people in the community. He is now active again in his community and synagogue and we are so grateful.
